NOT SURE IF I MADE THE TOP 20 OR NOT? I WAS #15 SHORTLY BEFORE THE END, AND HAD TO GO DO SOME SHOPPING, AND WHEN I GOT BACK IT WAS OVER!!!! :) THINGS MOVE QUICKLY HERE, SO NO ONE CAN BE SURE OF ANYTHING.

THAT HAPPENS IN EVERY CONTEST, BUT IT WAS REALLY EXTREME IN THIS ONE!!!! :roll:
I MADE IT TO #3 AT ONE POINT, AND IT WAS ONLY FROM PEOPLE I KNOW ON THE SITE, BECAUSE I NEVER ASKED ANYONE TO VOTE FOR ME OUTSIDE OF THIS SITE!!!! :) I ALSO ALWAYS SAID, "VOTE IF YOU LIKE THE SONG". I WON´T VOTE FOR SONGS I DON´T LIKE, AND DON´T EXPECT MY FRIENDS TO EITHER. :)

ANYWAY, MAYBE I MADE THE TOP 20?! BUT IF YOU´RE NOT A YOUNG ROCK BAND, (WHICH THEY SPECIFICALLY STATED THEY WERE LOOKING FOR IN THE SPIN VIDEO) YOUR CHANCES ARE NULL!!!

I´M ALSO #3 IN LATIN AT OURSTAGE.COM WITH MY SONG "DO YOU WANT MY LOVIN". I´VE BEEN #3 FOR OVER A WEEK, SO I IMAGINE I´LL PROBABLY MAKE THE QUARTER FINALS, SEMI FINALS, AND WILL ONCE AGAIN LACK THE VOTES TO GET IN AND WIN THE FINALS, UNLESS MY 100´S OF FRIENDS HERE AT MUSIC NATION COME OVER AND VOTE FOR ME!!! :) THAT WOULD BE COOL, BECAUSE I´VE BEEN IN THE TOP 10 SEMI FINALS 5 OUT OF 6 CONTESTS IN 4 DIFFERENT GENRES. IT WOULD BE COOL TO FINALLY WIN. :)

BY THE WAY, THERE´S SOME INCREDIBLE TALENT ON THIS SITE!!!!!! A LOT OF YOUNG TALENT!!!! ONE OF THESE ARTISTS SHOULD WIN, BECAUSE SPIN IS LOOKING FOR THE NEXT BIG ROCK BAND!!!! :)

AT LEAST I KNOW MY SONGS ARE GOOD, AND WHICH WERE THE STRONGEST IN THE CONTEST!!!!!!
SINCE WE WERE ABLE TO CHANGE OUR SONGS DURING THE ENTIRE CONTEST, I DID SOME EXPERIMENTING!!! :)

THESE ARE THE SONGS THAT DID THE BEST;

1."LOVE IS THE KEY" IS A WINNER!!!
2."YOU DID IT TO ME" DID EXTREMELY WELL!!!!
3."DON´T STOP" DID GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
4."DO YOU WANT MY LOVIN" DID VERY WELL!!!
5."IN THE NAME OF" DID VERY WELL!!!!!!!

I TRIED OTHERS, BUT IT WAS PRIMARILY A ROCK CONTEST, SO JAZZ, FUNK, ELECTRONIC, GENERALLY DIDN´T DO THAT WELL FOR ANY LENGTHY PERIOD OF TIME!!!!!!
THIS WILL VARY ON DIFFERENT SITES AND IN DIFFERENT CONTESTS, BUT IT WAS AN INTERESTING EXPERIMENT, AND THE 5 SONGS ABOVE ALL DID EXTREMELY WELL!!!!!!! :D

AS I SAID BEFORE, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT MY FRIENDS AND FANS HERE.
I´M VERY GREATFUL TO ALL OF YOU. :)
I´VE HEARD SO MUCH GREAT MUSIC, MET SO MANY WONDER FUL PEOPLE, AND HAD SOME GREAT LAUGHS HERE IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS, IT´S LIKE FAMILY FOR ME. SO I´LL BE AROUND HERE IN THE FUTURE. MAYBE NOT EVERYDAY, BUT A FEW TIMES A WEEK FOR SURE.

So it's finally come. The last day of this interesting competition. One last time I want to thank any and all who sent a vote my way during this crazy ride. At this point I think pretty much anybody can make a run for the top 20 and I'm sure by the end of the day the right people will be where they should be. Although I don't quite agree with the way this competition was handled, I'm kind of glad it did go down this way. There may or may not have been cheating in the beginning, people can complain that they didn't come up in the head to head player as many times as others, some may even consider it rigged. The way I look at is this: this is a community for musicians to meet, build relationships, and interact with other musicians who share the same passion for music as you do. These competitions are meant to help artists get heard by the whole community and bring other people into the community. For that I am thankful. I have been a part of many online music sites where artists put up their music, look for reviews, acceptance, and fame, basically whatever they can get. This is the only place where I actually felt like part of a community. I know it may seem like i'm just beating a dead horse saying how much I love you guys night after night now, but I just want to make sure the community knows that after this competition is all said and done I will still be here and I will still be showing love to all of my friends that I can honestly say are a part of my life now, and I have Music Nation to thank for it. Sorry i'm taking up so much space in your comment box haha i'll shutup now. Anyway, i'll end with saying its been a pleasure, and I can't wait to see how this turns out!
