And now....We Write! 10/12/07 3:33pm
So… after a year of heavy performing we're finally taking a break from any real touring and are hitting it hard in the studio to record our sophomore follow-up album. Ahhhh… it feels nice to have a little breathing room and some time to reunite with some of our disconnected song ideas we've been fumbling around with for almost a year.
Tonight we got together and mapped out a rough idea of the songs that will be included on the disc. It'll be interesting to look back in 4 or 5 months and see which songs actually made it. But as of October 12 2007 these are the songs we're planning to include on the new album…

Probably most of those song titles mean nothing to you at this point because some are brand spanking new songs we've never performed before.

The Sense of Smalltown Sway 10/04/07 1:25pm
No matter what you hear about "the arts" in small towns; for us at least, small towns are great havens for our music to come alive!
Two of the most enjoyable shows we've played in the last year have been in two small "out of the way" towns that are often over looked by touring bands. Cedar City and Logan, Utah. The audience and vibe at our last two shows in these towns have been really fun! We've met some genuinely cool people and we've had a fun time playing these cities.
So when other bands are passing up these smaller towns on their way to other stereotypically bigger music markets, they're missing out on great crowds who are yearning for cool music.

The Path to our Prerogative 10/04/07 1:20pm
So we're really amped to get out and play new cities along this American fruited plane. However, up until now we didn't have the ability to do that simply based on limitations with our transportation. Well, that no longer is an issue. We are proud to present The Gorgeous Hussies' new ride: THE GLOBAL WARMER
And yeah, it's a pretty penny to get around...
So with this new ride we're already starting to book shows out to San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Portland. If you have friends in these areas please let them know about us and to watch for upcoming tour dates in their area.
