Spin Hot Pursuit - Bye Week

From the bright lights of Vancouver's night, comes The Golden Mean. This four piece outfit deftly blends the melody rich alternative rock of the 90's with the heavy hitting rhythms of new rock while pushing the sonic boundaries of post rock. The Golden Mean's debut album "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" releasing on October 13th, 2007 - is now complete and selling fast. Recorded at Greenhouse Studios with producer Jay "Juice" Evjen (www.juicemixproductions.com ) (Hot Hot Heat, Wide Mouth Mason, Todd Kerns). TGM's "Sinners" is a thick wall of sound, with melodic vocals, rich guitars, pounding drums and bass, and phenomenal sounding effects. The album also includes some featured artists, such as Ryan Dahle (Age of Electric & Limblifter), playing additional guitar on "Out Before You Knew", Kyle Gruninger (Incura) singing background vocals on "Devils Tower", and Jenny Galt (Satellite Party & Rock Star Supernova) acoustic on "Keep Me Guessing".

    I also wanna say congrats to everyone in this comp for getting heard and getting the recognition that you all deserve. I know I at times displayed my emotions in ways that was not cool. But it's all in the growing up department, and we all evolved from this. Just keep keeping it real, and we will once again (soon I hope), be side by side in our quest for success and being HEARD! Here's another idea for being heard! There's a new page on MN called "Collaboration Nation" for the listing of music that are collabs between 2 or more artists on MN. It's not just there you can be heard, but if you collaborate with other artists in other genres, then your limitations to which contests you can enter just opened up to an endless selection.     I just want to thank all of my friends for their constant support and love throughout the past few months. I'm so glad I joined this site and am so thankful for all of the wonderful people i've met here. I wanted to take a second to wish everyone the best of luck in this last week of the Spin Pursuit and tell everyone who makes the finals not to take it for granted. There are 476 people who would kill for the spot you will have and I hope you know how talented and loved you are to be able to make it there. For those who don't win or make the finals, never give up. I know i won't. Cherish the relationships you've developed throughout this ride and consider yourself lucky to have done so. There will be other opportunities for you. As for the winner, I will be behind you 100% and wish you the best throughout your career as I will be following it. I truly love everyone that I have been blessed to meet on this site and you are all very dear to me. So once again, good luck, God bless, and i hope we have a great finish to this thing!
