Post Zygote Project consists of Gregory Schultz and Taraisa Lennstrom. Greg played in several bands, two of which have won “competitions”. The first band was Fat Like Dad and the second was The New Body Swingers. Fat Like Dad won a $5000 dollar radio band war and earned the opening spot in The Tragically Hip's 1994 “Another Roadside Attraction” tour. Also, Fat Like Dad opened for the likes of other popular bands such as 54/40, Bad Brains and 13 Engines. Taraisa and Greg formed the Post Zygote Project after their involvement with The New Body Swingers. Gregory Schultz is a musician, producer and audio engineer. As a musician he has performed in several groups locally recognized. During the 1990s while performing in Fat Like Dad, Greg has had the privilege of performing at venues featuring Canadian artists such as The Tragically Hip, Daniel Lanois, 54/40 and 13 Engines. Also the group won a local rock radio contest awarding a $5000 prize. Fat Like Dad’s album was recorded and is yet to be released. Greg also played with a group called The New Body Swingers. The group won a $500 recording prize at the Confederation College in the mid-90s. This is the group Gregory and Taraisa began performing together with. After the dismantling of The New Body Swingers, Gregory and Taraisa recorded several demo songs with former members of Fat Like Dad. They called the group Flurry. Come the late 90’s Gregory and Taraisa began writing together and later formed their current group, Post Zygote Project. Their first album was officially released October 2007 via CD Baby and is available to the public through many online distributors. In addition to Post Zygote Project’s 2007 release, Gregory has produced/engineered 2 demo recordings and 1 full length album for other artists. Gregory also maintains several PZP websites and enjoys photography and graphic arts. Taraisa Lennstrom is the vocalist of the Canadian group known as Post Zygote Project. Before this group she recorded with former Fat Like Dad members in a group formed named Flurry and performed with the Thunder Bay group known as The New Body Swingers. Post Zygote Project has performed at several open stages and for a multi-media student’s video project.

We also learned soooo much about ourselves and eachother. The collaboration potential is amazing as well. All in all...............FREE PROMO BABY!!! Ahhhhhhhh, but now comes the absolute most important part of this comment. You ready? Here it comes..................... LSD's spotlight salutes (A very VERY special one): If you notice below, there are no links, nor are there names. If you also will notice, you as well as I, in an unselfish quest to explore new artists, probably haven't heard your own music in a while. Or not in depth anyway. In this, it is very EASY to forget what you think about YOURSELF, how you feel about your music, and how great you are, along with your absolute endless potential. Especially after hearing some of there fucking geniuses here at MN. So, the music I want you to focus on today, and the music I am saluting is very simple, and you won't have to go far to hear it either. Put on headphones, and as loud as you can, listen to yourselves! This is the music that I mostly recommend for you to hear! It is also the music that I can guarantee you'll find to be just what you're looking for. Feel it just like the day you wrote it. The emotions of love, anger, joy, dedication, the person you wrote it for or about, etc, etc, etc....... as the magic of these songs are the ENDLESSNESS of them. That's my word for today.
