The Vending Machine Heart is Jason Applin and Stuart Wills. They formed the Vending Machine Heart and started writing acoustic based songs after finding that they had a common admiration for many of the same songwriters - in particular Elliot Smith. The Vending Machine Heart’s music has been described as two parts Elliot Smith to one part Simon & Garfunkel. Jason currently fronts The Headclub who have recently released their first long player. In the 90s he was the lead singer of Bennett who scored a top 40 hit with Mum’s Gone To Iceland as well as recording two John Peel sessions. Stuart is a singer-songwriter and an accomplished live performer and has just re-released his first solo album. In the 90s he was the lead singer of the band Sand and also lead guitarist in the five piece Savalis.

Transending, non-ending, mind bending hang-upsExtending, befriending - why I am lending life Machines vending plastic chocolate bars To rockstars driving fast racecars Policemen sending kids to the sun and the moon and the stars in the sky And the sky and the clouds and the crowds and the masses flock Behind one man who is this rock? Why are we spending our hours and powers on ironic iconic showers of electronic flowery painted poetry jaded with faded ragged levi jeans full of dreams and DNA without REM . . . OH WHAT THE HECK ~ PLEASE LISTEN TO ANY OF MY SONGS RIGHT NOW ~ & SHUT ME UP !!!

Excellent melody, refreshing, pleasant, cheery classical sound...The hook could be better, the bridge at 2:00 to 2: 24 m/secs breaks momentum... and the chorus "ahhhhhh's" from 2:51 to 3:12 m/secs finishes weak... either change the "ahhh's" to "ooo's" or get rid of it... fix all of this and the flow will be tighter from beginning to end. Nice music and ambience... I'd like to hear more...
