Someday I will learn to write a blues rocker like this one. I hear a lotta John Prine in this song, and buddy, just so I ain't misunderstood here, that would be the 2nd highest honor in my book, 2nd only to Tom Petty. Like the Jerry Lee Lewis feel around 1:23. I really DO like this and think it would be great with a big rockin' band backing you up on this. Like you said about A Billion Miles, I hear a lot of Seger in this one, too. As a matter of fact, as it rollin' into play two, I think I've got a new Phil Watson favorite. Seriously. (Notice how I am clarifying all my statements, since I am having a hard time writing anything other than lyrics, these days.) I back up an individual's right to post a comment about cheating, in fact, praise him for doing it, then later, stand accused of attacking him. Either I need a psychiatrist, or else, as I truly believe, everybody else does, BUT ANYWAY......do me a big favor, Phil, send me an .mp3 to my email. I want to do two things. I want to add to it. (I'm finally getting a working electric guitar this week, an Epiphone SG,) and I want to add some harmonies. Please send a lyric sheet. Then, I want to do a cover of my own. First, there's our first collab, and 2nd, I think you'll like the cover. Any way, when I'm done praising this song in another 300 words (kidding). Great job. Elementary, my dear Watson!
