Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Waves Crashing On Face is a new music project from Benjamin Cuiffo. The band includes producer/guitarist Scott Levine (El Gringo, Club d'Elf), drummer Tony Porter (The Velvet Stylus), bassist Adam Abrams (Palace In Thunderland, FreightTrain, Aeolian Race), and keys player Zach Loavenbruck, and some very special guests. Born in Queens, NY and hailing now from Somerville, MA, Ben has straddled the line between the life of an artist and that of a scientist. Heavily influenced as a youngster by the works of Jack Kerouac, Mark Twain, Joseph Conrad, Herman Hesse, and Ernest Hemingway, as well as the lyrics of Bob Dylan; and possessing something of a freewheeling gypsy spirit, he's spent a good amount of time traveling America and beyond. Ben started Waves as a vehicle for a logjam of songs he has written during the course of his adventures. The Waves band is consists of some of Boston's finest musicians - energy spills from them in mellow waves of brainbending sound. This is a thinkin' man's band. And a thinkin' woman's band too. It's music will wrap around you in great wonderful waves and then, of course, crash on your face.
