Music Nation is a Music Video Competition for Independent Artists

Bringing a fresh new sound that’s resonating through Houston’s R & B underground world, Sydnee has become known for making hit records, combining sensual and intimate verses with catchy hooks. The Houston, Texas vocalist, song-writer, arranger, and producer looks to get her music heard throughout the world, “I just want to be heard, I feel once the public hears me then they will relate to me.”, hopefully by doing so she can make herself the new face of indie R & B. Sydnee gives her fans a taste of R&B, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz and Pop through their unique sense of music that includes the hit, “Relationships.” Sydnee has donned her style of music a YS Music (Young Soul Music). This is Sydnee’s 2nd album, her introductory album, “Turn Me On”, was released in November 2005. After a break she has completed her follow up album, “Turn Me On V2; 4 Tha Luv Of Muzik”, Sydnee, and proved that she is here to stay. Sydnee started singing at the age of 2, and is musically influenced by Whitney Houston, and began performing the “Greatest Love of All" for family and friends eventually getting noticed singing within her Church Choir at the age of 4 eventually becoming the Choir Director. Known now to be a hardworking, ambitious and goal oriented business woman, Sydnee has worked with Houston’s number one street DJ, DJ Chill, who’s was trained by with DJ Screw himself, and has worked Dj’d for Lil Flip, UGK and more. She’s been featured on DJ Chill and Yung Samm’s Mixtape’s and maintains regular air play on his radio show aired on 90.1 KPFT. DJ Statik of, Desert Storm South, was the first to represent her, “Dirt off Ya Shoulders” remix ft Sydnee, in a night life setting. Her extensive background includes a starring stage performance in The Velveteen Rabbit, at the Ensemble Theater, which ran for several years 1998-2001. She was also elected to sing lead by Robert Ray, a modern composer of “Gospel Mass in C”, an arranged version of Mozart’s “Mass in C, 23 page songs” 2002. She was a featured model during NBA All Star Weekend in Houston, TX along side of, Eva Pigford & Tyson Beckford, in the All Star Fashion Show. Sydnee, the urban songstresses, has elegance with an extensive knowledge of the music and entertainment industry with several solid years of recording experience. She has remained very humble throughout her career, whether it’s taking the stage or living her every day lifestyle. Her goal is to touch the souls of listeners in a remember-able fashion. “I want to send my appreciation to all my believers and supporters.
