Born on Long Island in 1987, Zeiss was born with parents who played a variety of music, Doo Op, Rock and Roll,R&b, Hard Rock, 80's Rock, Bubble Gum, everything, and the artist that stood out the most was Elvis Presley. Practicing Elvis from nearly the day he could walk and talk, Zeiss would obviously go on to practice. The mans feared friend Mr. Puberty stepped in and gave his back street boy voice a make over, a squeaky make over, but a make over at that. Devastated by this new squeak Zeiss would practice two hours a day everyday singing for three years. Zeiss really didn’t know much other than the music his parents would play. Until tenth grade Zeiss didn't really associate with too many people, but tenth grade rolled around, and he fell into a crowd where heavy metal was played, punk rock, simply modern. Along the way he caught techno, Rap, Hip hop, a new world of music and performing was opened up. In the 10th grade Zeiss felt he was a good enough singer to attempt a shot at BOCES, but to make sure he went to his High Schools music teacher, Mr. P. Zeiss asked another school staff member to introduce them, so she did, and Mr.P said to Z that he would be brutally honest after the performance was over. Zeiss did a rendition of Elvis' "It's Over". Mr. .P looked up at Zeiss with a smile and said "that was fantastic, really good; I want you in my class right away”. Mr. .P explained to Zeiss that since he had had no personal training, in reading music and such it will be hard to go to Boces. So Zeiss took small steps and joined the school chorus, where he was taught to have confidence and to feel at home, where every time he had a public audition or test he'd get a standing ovation. Then came his twelve grade year in school, he now had a chance to audition for The Odyssey, the best of the best group within the school. He performed Billy Joel’s “only the good die young”, and got a screaming ovation this time. Zeiss had made the group, and then received a solo performance in Chicago's "Does Anybody Really Know what time it is?" He had the second solo, but the school band teacher than told others which than got back to Zeiss that he had a great rocker voice, it was the band teachers desire that Zeiss would be able to stay another year, but of course that couldn't happen. Z from tenth grade to twelve grade attempted to form bands, but they never took of the ground, till he met a man who goes by the name ALCAZAR xxx, former member of the bands: Medication, dayinthelife, and idol x. Zeiss and Alcazar got together to record a song written by Z's father “I Am the Boat”, originally meant to be an homage to his fathers song, but then became something new entirely. Unfortunately sometime after the recording Alcazar xxx packed up his things and moved away. It was planned that they get together to record the rest, but then toward the time of the meeting it was cancelled. Zeiss was then forced to find another producer/studio. Through a friend of a friend Zeiss met Jeff Daub of BMP Studios. They are currently working on the rest of Zeiss first Album entitled Reflectionz. The title is based off of the ideas and influences of which went into the album, writing songs of all genres, this album has a little of all Zeiss’ influences. Loving most music Zeiss felt he could do what was done about 50 years ago and do it again! Elvis Presley took hillbilly and r&b and made Rock and Roll. Zeiss will attempt to take modern rock and r&b and make a brand new rock and roll.
