Zo's Bio...

Meriere Izobo aka Zo was born in Detroit, Michigan . He now resides in San Diego and has been for 8 years. I never started rapping seriously until I moved to the west coast. "What seperates me from the average artist is my style. Mixing vocals with harmony and rap into one sound." His music is not 100% Midwest or West Coast it is the evolution of music and he's just getting started. Zo has been performing artist for about 6 years. His love for music started when, he was a kid remembering to ask his mother to leave the radio on as he slept. From his own words..., "Music not only touches my ears, but my soul as well."
His motivation to achieving alot of his successes stems from family, and friends expressing to him that he can't , and will not make it anywhere. They said he should focus on real things and not put 100% his music, with that negativity in mind... Zobo channeled all that negative energy, and turned it into a positive, by accomplishing the impossible... as his degree in college, his many performances that he's done in San Diego, and in Los Angles. He also recieved a VH-1 song of the year for the month of november for a song called "ETERNAL". "If things happen for a reason, let the things in your life be the reason, you succeed." Zo was also one of the many few to have his music played on the highest rated show in Vh-1 History ( The Flavor of Love 2) He has had two song on the show and is now recieving Publishing for Eternal and a song he wrote for the reunion show sang by one of the contestents. He is now writting two song for a Motion called "PLAYER SCHOOL" and another movie called "Next Day Air"

The difference in Zobo as an artist is he interacts, and vibes off the critasism from the fans, his promoters, his collegues, and fellow artists... he makes it a point to learn, and find many ways to musically touch all people from all sides of the spectrum.
