"It's never what you do in life, but the heart with which you do it," says singer/songwriter and philanthropist Brad Corrigan, a.k.a. Braddigan. As a member of the indie music phenomenon Dispatch, Braddigan performed for sold out crowds across the United States and made music history when 110,000 people gathered at Boston’s Hatch Shell for the band’s epic farewell concert in 2004. Most recently, Dispatch is preparing for a rare reunion run – a sold out three night engagement in New York’s Madison Square Garden from which 100% of the profits will benefit organizations fighting famine, disease and social injustice in Zimbabwe. Today, Braddigan carries on the Dispatch legacy of community outreach and social work through music via his solo project. Braddigan spends about half of every year with families living in a city trash dump in Managua, Nicaragua, working to end the cycle of poverty, addiction and disease by introducing health care, education, and hope. Braddigan brings these stories to life on the stage and in his recordings with his bandmates Reinaldo (from Puerto Rico) on percussion and Tiago (from Brazil) on bass.
