Greetings Popprincessjess, I wanted to bring to your attention a solo project that I've been cultivating over the years. Talons of Spring is an experimental rock project with flashes of spoken word poetry. The music and overall atmosphere has been compared to Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Radiohead and The Doors. I've been hard at work cultivating a genuine fan-base on MySpace.com, subsequently receiving some very humbling, and enthusiastic comments - I hope to follow the same path on musicnation.com! Currently, I'm in post production on a new music video for Comfort Drag - a video influenced by Anton Corbijn's work with Depech Mode: the director and I were focused on creating a story, a visceral pulse within the video (shot in black & white). I mention this because I believe Talons of Spring has the potential to create public awareness with visual symmetry, live shows, and radio/media with music rooted in artistic integrity. My dream is to wholeheartedly embark on a career based on a long term perspective - one which stays true to the audience and evolution of Talons of Spring itself. I understand that I am an unknown artist, but I have great faith in my first album, and even greater faith with the right representation and word-of-mouth.
